Ultraformer III is a type of HIFU which uses ultrasound energy to stimulate the production of collagen in the deeper layers below the skin. HIFU is tolerable by most patients with topical numbing cream and oral analgesia.
Numbing cream is usually applied for 30-45minutes. The procedure takes about 30-50 minutes depending on the area treated.
There is minimal downtime, some patients may experience swelling, soreness or bruising, rashes, redness which usually resolve in 3-10 days depending on the individual.
