First, numbing cream is applied for about 30-45minutes. After cleansing off the numbing cream, small amounts are injected all over into the treatment area, creating little bumps that will resolve with time. With numbing cream, it is well tolerated by most people.

Treatment phase(i.e. Loading Phase): 1 session per month x 3 

Maintenance phase: 1 session every 4-6 months (or as often as desired)

Generally, the small bumps on the face will subside within a few hours to a few days, it should not last more than 5 days and the average duration taken for the bumps to go away is about 24hours. With every session done, you will notice that the bumps subside more quickly. 

Small risks include bleeding, bruising and rarely, infection. 

Some people, especially those who have sensitive skin or are more prone to acne,  may experience a few pimples after the treatment but this should generally resolve in a week.

Bruising, if any, will also completely subside within 3-7 days.

There are many brands of skinboosters available. They all contain hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in our skin that helps to bind water and hence increase hydration and moisture levels. Some skinboosters contain other nutrients such as glutathione, alpha-lipoiec acid which are known to have lightening properties to boost fairness, as well as other amino acids to nourish the skin.
