NON-SURGICAL FACE-LIFT PROTOCOLS DR SAMANTHA OFFERS AT NEXUS

Want a face lift without going under the knife?

Dr Samantha won't add what your face doesn't need. Twenty minutes, four layers read (skin, fascia, muscle, structure), then the smallest protocol that holds. If a surgical lift is the better path, she'll refer you out.

The face-lift menu
HIFU on Ultraformer MPT

HIFU on Ultraformer MPT

Focused ultrasound at the SMAS layer, the same layer surgical face lifts address. 1 session per cycle, lifts visible over 8-12 weeks, hold roughly 1 year.

EndyMed RF tightening

EndyMed RF tightening

Radiofrequency heating of the deep dermis. Maintenance protocol — every 4 weeks, monthly ongoing. Best for mid-face laxity and fine surface lines.

Profhilo bioremodeller

Profhilo bioremodeller

Hi + lo MW HA placed at the BAP-9 grid. Skin-quality canvas under any other modality. 3 sessions, 4 weeks apart.

Dermalift (microbotox)

Dermalift (microbotox)

Diluted Botulinum Toxin placed in the superficial dermis. Lifts and tightens without freezing facial muscles. 1 session per cycle, every 4-6 months.

Dermal fillers (cheek + chin)

Dermal fillers (cheek + chin)

Structural HA filler at the cheek + zygomatic arch + chin. The pillars of the lift. Hyaluronidase-reversible.

Combined protocol

Combined protocol

Most face-lift patients receive 2-3 modalities sequenced over 8-16 weeks. The combination is matched to the four-layer assessment, not a fixed package.

How a non-surgical face lift works without surgery

A non-surgical face lift is a combination of doctor-led protocols that address the layers responsible for sagging or volume loss: the SMAS deep structural layer, the dermal connective tissue, muscle tone, skin quality, and surface structural support. Each modality targets a different layer. A matched protocol combines two or three modalities for the patient's specific anatomy.

  • HIFU (Ultraformer MPT): focused ultrasound delivered to the SMAS layer, the same layer a surgical face lift addresses. Stimulates collagen response over 8 to 12 weeks. Result lasts 12 to 18 months. Best for jawline laxity and lower-face contour.
  • EndyMed RF: radiofrequency heating of the deep dermis. Tightens collagen fibrils and stimulates new collagen production over a 3-session course. Best for mid-face laxity and fine surface lines.
  • Profhilo bioremodeller: hi + lo MW hyaluronic acid placed at the BAP-9 grid. Improves dermal hydration and skin quality. Does not change face shape but improves the lift-friendly canvas.
  • Anti-wrinkle injection (Nefertiti technique): relaxes the platysma muscle along the jawline + neck, lifting the jawline border. Subtle but distinctive for patients with strong jaw-pull lines.
  • Dermal fillers: HA filler placed at cheek + zygomatic arch + chin for structural support. The 'pillars' of the lift. Hyaluronidase-reversible.

Most face-lifting treatment singapore patients at Nexus receive a combination of two or three of these modalities, not just one. The assessment determines the right combination.

Dr Samantha's four-layer face-lift assessment

At Nexus, the face-lift assessment looks at four distinct layers before any modality is selected. This is the differentiator between a Nexus protocol and a brand-named template at other clinics.

  • Layer 1. SMAS depth: if the lift requirement is at the SMAS layer (the same layer a surgical face lift addresses), HIFU on Ultraformer MPT is the first modality considered.
  • Layer 2. Dermal connective tissue: if the laxity is in the deep dermis with collagen quality decline, EndyMed RF is matched in. Often combined with HIFU when both layers need work.
  • Layer 3. Muscle dynamics: anti-wrinkle injection along the masseter or platysma corrects muscle-driven jawline pull-down. Adds 0.5-1mm of jawline lift visually without changing skin.
  • Layer 4. Structural support: if there is volume loss at the cheek or chin, dermal filler provides the 'pillars' that re-establish the lift architecture.

Skin quality (Profhilo bioremodeller) is the canvas layer. It does not lift on its own but it improves the response of every other modality.

Who suits a non-surgical face lift at Nexus, who does not

Suitable for

Suitable for

  • Patients in their late 20s through 50s with mild-to-moderate sagging, jawline laxity, or volume loss.
  • Anyone wanting a non-invasive path before considering surgery.
  • Patients with specific concerns: jowls, jawline definition, mid-face hollowness, neck banding.
  • Patients open to a combined protocol rather than a single brand-named treatment.
  • Patients who prefer reversible / adjustable interventions (HA-based modalities are hyaluronidase-reversible).
Take care

Pause first

  • Patients with severe sagging that would not respond to non-surgical modalities. Plastic surgery referral is the right path.
  • Patients expecting a single-session permanent transformation. Non-surgical lift is layered work over a course.
  • Patients with active inflammatory skin conditions or recent ablative laser. Settle the skin first.
  • Patients wanting threads (PDO / PLLA). Nexus does not offer threads as a matter of Dr Samantha's protocol preference.

What a face-lift assessment + first session at Nexus looks like

Face-lift consultation steps
  1. Step 1, 20 min

    Four-layer assessment

Dr Samantha assesses SMAS-layer laxity, dermal connective tissue, muscle dynamics, and structural support. Photo documentation under standardised lighting.

  2. Step 2, 10 min

    Protocol matching

Dr Samantha proposes a 1-to-3 modality combination matched to the assessment findings, with sequencing logic (which to do first, which to layer on later). Pricing transparent.

  3. Step 3, varies

First-session treatment (same visit if elected)

If the patient agrees, the first modality (usually HIFU or Profhilo session 1) is delivered the same day. Subsequent modalities sequenced across following weeks.

  4. Step 4, 4-12 weeks

    Review and layer

Photo comparison at the review checkpoint. Layered modalities (RF course, second Profhilo session, anti-wrinkle injection) sequenced based on response.

Side effects and recovery from non-surgical face-lift work

Worth knowing

Common (most patients)

  • Mild redness or warmth at treated zones for 30 to 60 minutes post-session.
  • Localised tenderness at injection points (Profhilo, filler, anti-wrinkle) for 24 to 48 hours.
  • Mild swelling or small bumps post-injection that resolve within 3 to 5 days.
Take care

Less common

  • Localised bruising at one or two injection points, resolving within 5 to 7 days.
  • Temporary asymmetry post-anti-wrinkle injection that settles or is adjusted at 2-week review.
  • Mild fatigue or feeling of jaw heaviness after HIFU session, settling within 24 hours.
  • Rare HA hypersensitivity. HA-based modalities are hyaluronidase-reversible if needed.

Aftercare across non-surgical face-lift modalities

Aftercare phases
  1. Day 0

    Skip actives + protect

No retinoids, no AHA/BHA, no vitamin C serum for 24 hours. Sunscreen on if heading outside. Cool compress for 10 min if any tenderness at injection sites.

  2. Day 1 to 7

    Barrier + hydration

Hyaluronic acid + ceramide moisturiser. Avoid hot showers, saunas, and direct sun for 48 hours. Sleep face-up for the first night if injectables were placed.

  3. Week 2 onward

    Resume routine + review

Reintroduce actives gradually. Photo comparison at the review checkpoint (typically week 2-4 for injectables, week 8-12 for HIFU and RF response).

Esther sends a brief aftercare summary via WhatsApp post-session.
