There are many different types of skinboosters available in the market. They generally contain hyaluronic acid and may be combined with other nutrients such as amino acids, glutathione etc. It can be delivered into our skin via microinjections, microneedling or other delivery methods such as electroporation.
Treatment phase(i.e. Loading Phase): 1 session per month x 3
Maintenance phase: 1 session every 4-6 months (or as often as desired)
It is done similarly to Rejuran.
First, numbing cream is applied for about 30-45minutes. After cleansing off the numbing cream, small amounts are injected all over into the treatment area, creating little bumps that will resolve with time. With numbing cream, it is well tolerated by most people.
Generally, the small bumps on the face will subside within a few hours to a few days, it should not last more than 5 days and the average duration taken for the bumps to go away is about 24hours. With every session done, you will notice that the bumps subside more quickly.
Small risks include bleeding, bruising and rarely, infection.
Some people, especially those who have sensitive skin or are more prone to acne, may experience a few pimples after the treatment but this should generally resolve in a week.
Bruising, if any, will also completely subside within 3-7 days.

Some skinboosters contain other nutrients such as glutathione, alpha-lipoiec acid which are known to have lightening properties to boost fairness, as well as other amino acids to nourish the skin.
