Since she was a teenager suffering from acne outbreaks and having sensitive skin that made her break out in pimples or rashes easily from using various skincare products, Dr Samantha always knew she wanted to formulate her own skincare that was effective yet suitable for even the most sensitive and most acne-prone of skintypes.

In 2021, when Dr Samantha was in the midst of preparing to start her very own aesthetic clinic, she started having meetings with a local compounding pharmacy to discuss the skincare line she wanted to curate. After reading many dermatology journals, speaking to various dermatologists on their thoughts, as well as doing research on what recommendations dermatologists and plastic surgeons were giving, she started research and development on her basic line of products.

Dr Samantha used to follow the fads and try all sorts of skincare available, from drugstore labels to reputable big houses and realised that sometimes, being minimalistic to a certain extent may be a wiser choice. Hence she decided to start off with a basic skincare line of 6 products. “I wanna create something that everyone can use, and a regime that is not too tedious that it puts people off.”

After 6-9 months of research and development, with various testing on the products on volunteers and alteration to the formulas, she is very excited to present her line of skincare.

Being an aesthetic doctor herself, Dr Samantha believes in holistic approach to taking care of one’s skin. “I believe that the skincare products we use can enhance and complement the aesthetic treatment regimes we undergo. Together, they boost each other’s effect”
